The Trung Thu Festival event celebrates both the historical significance of the Harvest Moon Day and the importance of quality family time, while emulating the authenticity of festivals in the very streets of Vietnam. This annual free event offers a medley of cultural cuisine, vibrant performances, and storytelling through skits which allows the older Vietnamese generations to revisit their heritage, while providing younger Vietnamese American generations the opportunity to discover and explore an important part of their identities. At the end, all participants are asked to join us in our annual lantern walk, where we hold our lanterns and follow the leader around the park while singing the Trung Thu song! This event welcomes all who are interested in immersing themselves the richness and beauty of culture.
